Knapheide’s modular product tank design enables customers to position the tanks where they need them. A fuel tank with 2,000 gallon capacity enables operators to stay on the job servicing equipment longer to maximize productivity and production. Choose the pre-configured new and salvage product tank sizes or select tank sizes that better fit your application for further customization. Ample storage space is available for your tools and equipment with the numerous underbody toolboxes. Features

E-Coat Immersion

Knapheide Bodies are fully immersed in Knapheide's 12-step, electrodeposition prime paint system for superior corrosion resistance.

Modular Platform Design

Allows for flexibility in product tank and equipment layout.

Solid Reel Cabinet

Solid reel cabinet on the rear of the body with aluminum roll-up doors for convenient access to dispensing reels and control panel. Split reel cabinet available upon request.

Product Tanks

Front fuel tank has a holding capacity of 1,000 gallons on KFLT1 and 2,000 gallons on KFLT2. Platform can be configured as needed with additional product tanks. The 3/16" steel product tanks each have a vented fill cap, replaceable sight gauges, and have been reinforced to eliminate tank stress caused from twisting and vibration.

LED Tail Lights and Reflectors

Recessed long lasting and low maintenance tail lights featuring bright LED illumination and stop/turn/backup signaling. Compliant with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards 108 regulations.

Work Lighting

Four adjustable work lights located on the top of the reel cabinet and LED compartment lights for improved visibility in low light conditions.

Underbody Storage Compartments

Located on each side of the body for additional storage of tools, supplies, and equipment.

Door Design

All compartment doors utilize pry-proof continuous hinges, weather protecting neoprene door seals, adjustable security ring striker for tighter closing, and spring or strut retainers to prevent involuntary door swing. Steel models are constructed of double-shell 20-guage, two-sided A-40 galvanneal steel while aluminum models are made from 6061 T6 and 5052 military grade aluminum.

Automotive Latches

Our 6-year warranty backed automotive quality, paddle activated rotary latches make opening and closing compartment doors easy. Interior latching mechanisms include covers to prevent potential damage caused by shifting cargo inside the compartments. Locking can be facilitated via the included key entry feature and/or a power lock option available upon request.
